The Nature of Captivity  was awarded the "Top prize for the Americas" by the BBC's 2011 International Playwriting Competition. For more info.
It was also named one of the Top Ten of 2011 by Personal Space Theatrics Artistic Director Nicholas Cotz. For more info.

He was recently given lifetime membership at Ensemble Studio Theatre. For more info.

Recently finished the first play in his trilogy entitled  so go the ghosts of méxico, about the U.S./Mexico drug wars.

NEWS:
-Has been selected by Sam Shepard as the inaugural recipient of the La MaMa ETC's Ellen Stewart Emerging Playwright Award, and will receive a production at La MaMa in their 2012-13 season. The award was announced at La MaMa's 50th Anniversary GALA on October 17, 2011.
